Fan.ca was originally incorporated in 2000 as a sports blog and article publishing network. For 4 years, it ran as a successful online network hub for sports fans - before Facebook, blogs and other media outlets really used the internet. We were focused on assuring that the Fan's voice would always be heard. 

In 2005 the site changed gears completely as rebuilt as a newer sports blog network. This time, the focus was on content, rather than teams. Anyone could submit articles about anything they wanted to write about. This concept was short-lived and the site was closed again.

After multiple offers to buy the domain name from interested parties, we decided to re-launch, this time as a completely different company. We're now the front-end of a large shirt and apparel company based in Ottawa. We can print and ship hundreds of different types of products and help teams in their fundraising at the same time.

The concept is not new - but it's effective and simple. And we think that is missing in this space.
